I've spent over 20 years building websites, working with agencies, leading digital products, and founding companies. I've worked on everything from simple business websites to complex digital platforms, and I've learned that the best solution isn't always the most complicated one. I'm also the founder of Site by Five.
After more than 20 years building websites, I've seen too many small businesses end up with websites that are more complicated than they need to be. Too many pages, too much content, and too many features that don't serve a clear purpose. Even supposedly simple websites come with headaches: website builders have learning curves, traditional sites need ongoing maintenance, and keeping the design and messaging effective takes time and expertise that most small business owners don't have.
